The chairman of the local organizing committee of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Sanoussy Bantama Sow has been removed from his position by the current military authorities in charge of Guinea and now the country is set to witness delay in preparations for the 2025 AFCON that it is scheduled to host.
The Francophone African country were awarded the right to host the 2025 AFCON and preparations had started but not advanced under the ex President Conde.
Bantama who is a former sports minister of the country has been ejected from his role by the Mamady Doumbouya-led military powers.
