Africa: The stats that show that Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy is the new Petr Cech

Senegal international goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has got Europe talking about him following his impressive debut season so far with Chelsea and has drawn comparison with Blues great Petr Cech. 

Both goalkeepers joined Chelsea from the same French side Stade Rennais. The Czech joined in 2004 whereas the Senegal Number One came to the Stamford Bridge to this summer.
