World and African football leaders gathered at Rabat,the Moroccan capital for African Football Symposium observed a minute silent to show solidarity with Asante Kotoko who suffered a fatal motor accident.
Global football was shaken with reports that Asante Kotoko have been involved in a fatal motor accident at Nkawkaw while returning to Kumasi following a league match against Inter Allies,killing the team’s Equipment Officer and injuring 18 players and officials.
Messages of love and encouragement have poured in across the Ghanaian populace. The latest to express sympathy to the Porcupines is footballer leaders and journalist at the on-going African Football Symposium.
CAF President Ahmad Ahmad stood at the podium to direct the entire gathering to stand up to show their deepest sorrow.
“Lets all stand up to show solidarity to Ghana team Asante Kotoko that had a fatal accident on their way to play a football game,thank you ,”CAF president said.
