English-born Ghanaian attacker Daniel Agyei had a superb game at Fratton Park on Friday night as Oxford United went away to hold Portsmouth in the League 1 playoff.
Agyei who joined Oxford from Burnley last summer was in his elements in the final nine minutes he played in the epic 1-1 draw.
The talented forward replaced Marcus Browne on the left-side of Oxford United three-man attack and proved to be a tough customer for the home side as they failed to control him.
He was unlucky not to have scored the second goal for his side as he was denied twice by Portsmouth agile goalkeeper Alex Bass.
Agyei is likely to be handed a starting berth by manager Karl Robinson on Monday when they welcome Portsmouth to the Kassam Stadium in the return fixture.
