Ahmed Toure continued his impressive form in the Ivorian top flight league when he netted brace in Asec Mimosas 3-1 victory over Sewe Sport on Friday evening.
Midfielder Kante Amdou shot the shot in front nine minutes into the game at Stade Robert Champroux before Ahmed Toure made it 2-0 in the 18th minute.
However Ghanaian international Emmanuel Bonsu pulled one back for the visiting team in the 30th mark when his shot beat Goalkeeper Cisse Abdoul Karim in the far end of the post.
The attacking force of Asec Mimosas kept pressuring Sewe Sport defense for more goals and their hard work finally paid off when Ahmed Toure again struck on the three minutes after recess to complete his double on the day, scoring his second brace of the season for the Abidjan based club.
The former Bechem United tormentor who is establishing himself in Siaka Traore’s side, has scored 6 goals in four caps since he joined them from Bechem United after the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League where he netted 13 goals.
Asec currently sit on top of the league log with 28 points in 11 games.
