Ghanaian international Albert Adomah has reached a remarkable milestone in English football after making his 700th appearance in the English Football League during Walsall’s 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury Town.
The Ghanaian forward achieved the feat on a special day, as the match also coincided with his 38th birthday, making the moment even more memorable. His appearance in the League Two clash officially confirmed his place among the most experienced players in EFL history.
Over a long and consistent career in England, Adomah has featured 526 times in the Championship and added another 174 games in League Two. Across those matches, the former Black Stars winger has contributed 95 goals and provided 101 assists, highlighting his lasting impact on the pitch.
Although he had already reached 700 career games in September 2024, the match against Shrewsbury marked his 700th appearance strictly in EFL league competitions. Adomah described the achievement as a proud moment, noting that reaching such a landmark on his birthday made it even more special.
The veteran attacker has played for several clubs in England, including Middlesbrough and Aston Villa, and continues to be an important figure at Walsall.
