Ghanaian winger Albert Adomah has extended his stay at Walsall FC after signing a new one-year deal with the English League Two club.
The 37-year-old, who joined the Saddlers before the start of the 2023/24 season, was a key player throughout the campaign. He featured in 54 matches across all competitions, scoring five goals and providing seven assists.
Adomah’s experience and leadership were crucial as Walsall chased promotion. His ability to play in different positions and guide younger teammates made him an important figure both on and off the pitch.
“I’m really pleased to be staying with the Saddlers for another season,” Adomah told the club’s media. “Last season didn’t end the way we hoped, but I really enjoyed my time here. It was an easy decision to stay.”
He also praised the support from the fans and manager Mat Sadler. “I feel really loved by the supporters, and I want to keep playing and helping the team in any way I can,” he added.
Last season also marked a personal milestone for Adomah as he reached 700 career appearances—a remarkable achievement that highlights his dedication and professionalism.
The former Aston Villa and QPR man will now look to build on last season’s efforts as Walsall aim for a successful 2024/25 campaign.
