Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has broken the record of Ghanaian star Andre Ayew as the highest ever paid player in the history of the English Championship.
The Fulham target man extended his contract with the club three months ago but the agreed new weekly wage was to take effect if he scores a number of goals.
Sportsworldghana.com can confirm that the amount was 100,000 Pounds a week and he was to score at least 19 league goals before the agreement can be put in force.
Mitrovic has now banged in 20 goals in 17 league games and he has started receiving his weekly wage of a whooping 100,000 Pounds Sterling.
He has now surpassed Ghana skipper Andre Ayew who was taken 80,000 Pounds a week at Swansea as well as Watford captain Troy Deeney who was earning the same amount when they were in the Championship.
