Ghana international, Alexander Djiku has set his sights on the Africa Cup of Nations after joining up with the Black Stars team in Doha.
The local contingent, called up by head coach, Milovan Rajevac, departed for Qatar on Friday and were joined by four foreign-based players to commence preparations for the 33rd AFCON.
Djiku is a part of the foreign-based players who have joined the team despite CAF agreeing to the World Leagues Forum’s request not to release players until January 3, 2021.
Updating his followers on social media after completing the training session, the central defender captioned a training image ‘When you can’t wait to be there.’
