The Ghana international defender has been restricted to the substitute bench at the Premier League side Leicester City but against Brentford in the FA Cup Daniel Amartey was in full action.
The team of Brendan Rodgers won 31- away at Brentford who also had another Ghanaian player on their team – Tariq Fosu in jersey number 24.
Amartey partnered Soyuncu in central defence and played the full duration of the game as Leicester won with goals from Cengiz Under, Yuri Tielemans and James Maddison.
