Amiens creative midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has been handed a maiden Black Stars call up for next month’s friendly against Mali in Turkey.
Lomotey who was a member of the Black Stars B team that won the 2017 WAFU Cup was invited together with five other debutants namely Kamal Deen, Benson Annan, Yakubu Mohammed, Alexander Djiku, Eugene Ansah, for the FIFA international friendly.
The game forms part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier double-header against Sudan in November.
Ghana top Group F with 6 points following victories against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe in November 2019.
