Amiens midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey has reacted to his maiden call-up to the Black Stars team via a post on his Twitter page.
Lomotey who joined French Ligue 2 side Amiens in the ongoing summer transfer window from Spanish side Extremadura UD, has been handed his first-ever Black Stars call-up by coach Akonnor for next month’s friendly against Mali in Turkey.
The former Dreams FC and WAFU Cup winner, together with five new players namely, Kamaldeen Suleman, Benson Annan, Eugene Ansah, Yakubu Mohammed and Alexander Djiku were named in the Black Stars’ 23-man squad announced on Friday via the Ghana Football Association Facebook Live broadcast dubbed GFA News.
The budding midfielder could not hide his excitement after receiving the invitation to join the senior national team for the first time.
