Asante Kotoko newly signed midfielder Abdul Latif Anabila has tipped his new club to win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title after penning a three-year deal with the most successful club in Ghana.
Anabila joins on free transfer after his contract run out at Ashantigold as Maxwell Konadu lands another transfer target ahead of the new season.
Hearts of Oak coach Nii Odoom was the first coach to make the bold declaration of winning the league but 23-year old Anabila believes Kotoko is better placed to clinch the title.
“Of course yes we can win the league. We want to win the league. That is my mentality and I believe that is the mentality of my teammates also” Anabila said on Fox FM on Monday morning.
“I am happy to join one of the best clubs in the country and I am going to give my best to help the club” he added.
