RSC Anderlecht have intensified negotiations with Dutch side PSV over a deal to sign defender Derrick Luckassen on a permanent deal this summer, sources have told SPORTSworldGhana.com.
Belgian media, however, say that Anderlecht has taken a good look at the arrival of the defender on a permanent move, having excelled during his loan spell with the Belgian Pro League giants.
According to Het Laatste Nieuws, a transfer would be a good thing for both PSV and Anderlecht.
Luckassen was loaned out to Anderlecht in the past six months. The purchase option of five million euros was too much for Anderlecht and a subsequent bid from Brussels of two million was rejected by PSV.
Luckassen will return to PSV this summer, but the defender does not intend to do this after an uproar with his parent club.
Belgian newspaper HLN, reports that Anderlecht will intensify talks with PSV this week.
