Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Derrick Luckassen says RSC Anderlecht is the “biggest club” in the Belgian top-flight after rejoining them on a season-long loan deal from parent club PSV Eindhoven.
Luckassen, 25, recently returned to Anderlecht for another loan stint after the expiration of his initial loan deal last season.
And the former Alkmaar versatile defender has lauded the record league champions, saying he always fancied a move to the club considering their history in the Jupiler Pro League.
“There is no other club I would like to play for. Anderlecht is the biggest club in Belgium for me. It is a great group of players,” Luckassen said in a video interaction with his siblings posted on Anderlecht’s twitter page.
He added “Everything I can learn from him, I will certainly apply. Vincent is very important to me,”
Luckassen however, remains positive about the upcoming league season and is fully prepared to give out his best for the club when the 2010/21 season commences.
He added “I am sure we will have a better season. We have evolved as a team and I think I can help this team, for all the people who have the RSCA in their hearts.”
He featured in 18 appearances in last season’s football league contest for Anderlecht.
