Skipper of the Ghana senior national team, Andre Ayew has joined new teammates at Al Sadd for pre season.
The Ghanaian forward secured a big money move to the Qatari club last month following his departure from Swansea City as a free agent, signing a two-year deal with the club.
Ayew and Swansea both decided to part ways after failing to clinch a return back to the English top-flight, losing Brentford in the Championship play-offs final.
Ayew was then confirmed a new addition to the Al Sadd team, with the player now teaming up with his new teammates fro pre-season.
Xavi Hernandez’s team are currently based in Spain, where they are stepping up preparations ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
Ayew is expected to be on the same team with Algeria frontman Baghdad Bounedjah and former Spain international Santi Carzola.
