Ghana captain Andre Ayew has reacted to his team’s heavy win over rivals Al Arabi SC on Friday.
The Ghana International has been in sensational form for the Qatari-based side since the start of the 2021/22 season, scoring four times in five starts for the club.
The 31-year-old was named in the starting line-up for the fifth consecutive time by head coach Xavi Hernandez, playing the attacking midfield role behind Baghdad Bounedjah and Hassan Al Heidos.

Al Sadd struggled to break the opening in the first 45 minutes of the games despite seeing more of the ball while also creating the most chances.
However, the second half was just a replicate of the initial half until Bounedjah opened the scoring in the 60th minute. Al Heidos doubled the lead just one minute later before Bounedjah grabbed his second of the day.
With eight minutes to go until the full-time, the Ghanaian stepped up to convert a spot-kick after the home team had committed a foul in the penalty box.
Ayew converted the resulting penalty to make it four nil for Al Sadd, who continue to occupy the top position of the Qatari Stars League.
The former Swansea City star took to social media to celebrate the big victory.
