Andre Ayew’s Swansea City defeated Barnsley 2-1 on Saturday to seal qualification to the EFL Championship play-offs final with Tariqe’s Brentford FC.
Ayew and his teammates after failing to pick promotion back to the English Premiership last season, would be hoping to make it this time with a win over Brentford at the Wembley Stadium.
The Swans clinched a 1-0 win against Barnsley in the first league before drawing one all on Saturday to pick an exciting qualification to the playoffs final.
Ayew, 31, who scored the only goal in the first leg, lasted the full 90 minutes of the epic return fixture on Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, winger Tariqe Fosu played the last 11 minutes for Brentford who thrashed AFC Tariqe Fosu in action as Brentford thrashed 10-man AFC Bournemouth to make it to the finals.
Tariqe Fosu has bagged four goals in 41 matches for Brentford this season.
Andre Ayew on the other hand, has netted 17 goals for Swansea City.
