Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo looks set to make a blockbuster move to Manchester City after the Citizens reportedly activated his £65 million release clause.
The Bournemouth winger, who has impressed across two seasons with 19 league goals since joining from Bristol City in 2023, is scheduled for a medical this Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Ghana international has attracted interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham, but Pep Guardiola appears to have won the race. Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola suggested that the upcoming match against Spurs could be Semenyo’s last for the club, though he emphasized that nothing has been formally signed yet.
Semenyo is known for his versatility, capable of playing as a forward or on either wing. His performances have made him one of the Premier League’s most in-demand players, and City hope he can bring additional firepower to their attacking line.
