Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo was named Man of the Match after delivering a stellar performance to propel AFC Bournemouth to a 2-0 victory over Everton in the FA Cup Round 4 at Goodison Park.

The Black Stars attacker played the full 90 minutes, making a significant impact as the Cherries dominated the contest. Semenyo was highly effective, completing 17 of 27 passes, registering two shots on target, and actively contributing to both attack and defense.

His defensive work was equally impressive, winning six of 13 ground duels, making one interception, and registering two tackles. Additionally, he made six clearances, a performance that earned him the Man of the Match award.

Everton captain James Tarkowski had a difficult afternoon, conceding a penalty before making a costly defensive error that led to Bournemouth’s second goal.

Semenyo played a key role in the opening goal, winning and confidently converting a 22nd-minute penalty to give his side the lead.

Before halftime, England international Daniel Jebbison took advantage of Tarkowski’s mistake, calmly slotting home Bournemouth’s second goal to seal the win.

With no further goals in the highly anticipated clash, the Cherries comfortably secured their place in the FA Cup Round 5, keeping their cup dreams alive.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian has been in outstanding form this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

In the FA Cup, Semenyo has been particularly impressive, contributing two goals and one assist in just two matches, further cementing his role as a key player for Bournemouth.
