Arsenal are keen on opening negotiations in January with Brighton & Hove Albion over Tariq Lamptey.
The “Gunners” were keen on the 21-year-old English-born Ghanaian defender last summer but they did not push much as the player was injured.
According to Spanish sports tabloid Fichajes, Arsenal are poised to re-enter talks with Brighton for the signature of Lamptey either in January or June next year.
He is said to be the preferred choice of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta who believes he can help their course.
Lamptey previously played for Chelsea before joining Brighton for 4 Million Pounds in January last year.
