Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah has received big praise from former Arsenal player and renowned pundit Paul Merson following his strike against Brighton on Sunday evening.
Nketiah found the net as Arsenal clinched a 4-2 victory over Brighton to move seven points clear at the top of the table.
“He would grow into that position and he will get more and more confident and it will feel that he is more belonged [at Arsenal]. Jesus doesn’t score that goal he scores. He doesn’t and it’s as simple as that. Eddie is an out-and-out goalscorer and there are the goals you want,” Merson told Sky Sports.
“Put Nketiah in the penalty box, put the ball in there and he will score you goals,” he added.
Nketiah has now scored two goals in his last two Premier League matches.
