Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has announced the launch of the inaugural Thomas Partey Tournament, a youth football competition designed to identify Ghana’s next generation of football stars.

The tournament, set to take place from December 2nd to 5th at the Tuba Astroturf in Accra, is organized in collaboration with JJ SPORTS.

Partey shared his vision for the event, stressing the importance of providing young players with a platform to showcase their skills. “It’s that time of the year where young Ghanaian players need a platform to showcase their talent. This is for the motherland; let’s discover and celebrate our future stars,” he said.

A standout feature of the tournament is the presence of scouts from eight European clubs, who will assess the performances of the participating teams. This presents a unique opportunity for emerging talents to secure professional contracts abroad. Partey further emphasized, “My agent and top scouts from eight European teams will be in Ghana to scout the best talents.”

The event, supported by the Thomas Partey Foundation and JJ SPORTS, is not just a competition but a testament to Partey’s dedication to youth development and community involvement. “This is Thomas Partey’s tournament,” he proudly declared.

The tournament promises to deliver exciting football action as young players display their skills, ambition, and dreams of a successful future in the sport. For Partey, the event is a chance to give back to his roots and inspire the next generation. “Together, we’ll celebrate the future of Ghanaian football,” he concluded.
