Chief Executive Officer of Databank, Kojo Addae Mensah has named Legon Cities forward, Asamoah is greatest Ghanaian player of all time.
Gyan has been out of the Black Stars team for sometime now due to his consistent and persistent injury issues, which has left many questioning his quality.
The Black Stars all-time scorer is also yet to receive a call-up under coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor but the Databank CEO says Gyan stands the the tallest among the many players to have don the Black Stars jersey.
“Gyan is my greatest Ghanaian of all time,” Kofi Addai Mensah mentioned an interview with Ashh FM.
“I know people will mention Pele, Polo and the likes, but Asamoah has performed at the highest level of international football and he is Ghana’s highest goal-scorer of all time.
“He is a great guy”, the Databank CEO added.
Earlier this week, Gyan dismissed claims he has retired from international duties, adding that he looks forward to playing for Ghana once again.
