Ghana Captain Asomoah Gyan scored a brace in his debut game for new Turkish club Kayserispor on Thursday.
It didn’t take long for the Ghanaian striker to establish himself at Anatolian Star as he netted twice against Hannover 96.
Gyan’s double helped Kayserispor to secured a 4-2 win over Hannover 96 in a pre-season game.
Gyan, who joined the Super Lig side from Shanghai SIPG on a two-year contract, got his goals in the second half to give his side the lead after Felix Klaus and Niclas Fuellkrug cancelled Geoffrey Mujangi Bia’s opener.
The Goal machine got his opener through penalty spot in the 82nd minute before completing his brace four minutes later as Welliton sealed the victory with the fourth goal in the closing stages of the game.
Gyan 31, will be hoping to maintain his fine form when Marius Șumudica’s men travel to Galatasaray for their Turkish Super League opener on August 14.
