Former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has been vindicated with his advocacy for the Belgian based player to be a regular in the Black Stars.
Majeed Ashimeru was introduced at the beginning of the second half of the game when he replaced Baba Iddrisou and immediately contributed to the dominance of the Black Stars in the Game.
The ex- WAFA player injected pace and controlled the game which ultimately ensured a hard one nil win against Madagascar.
Co-incidentally the last time majeed Ashimeru played for the senior national team was against Madagascar in March when Ghana drew 0-0 in the AFCON 2023 qualifier.
