Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have named Prince Owusu in an acting capacity as a replacement for Abdul Karim Zito who on Monday 9th February, 2026 stepped down as head coach of the club..
Zito, a former Ghana U-20 gaffer, resigned from his role after the Porcupine Warriors’ MTN FA Cup round of 16 defeat loss against Aduana FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday.
The club in a brief statement said, Prince Owusu, will be assisted by former Accra Hearts of Oak deputy coach Hamza Obeng.
Prince Owusu and Hamza Obeng will lead the club for their Ghana Premier League Super Clash fixture against arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
