Former Ashantigold attacking midfielder Alhaji Sani is close to joining Kumasi Asante Kotoko as the attacker started training with the double African champions.
The intelligent midfielder left Ashantigold before the start of the 2016 premier league season and trained with German second-tier side 1860 Munich but failed to win a deal at the club.
Sani started training with Kotoko at the Adako Jachie on Monday under the watch of interim head coach Michael Osei and showed flashes of his intelligence on the ball.
Sani joined Ashantigold as a rising star aged 17 and he was the longest serving player in the club until his acrimonious departure.
