Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC have thanked their former player, Kwame Opoku for his wholehearted services rendered the club ahead of his move to USM Alger.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker scored eight goals in both the Ghana Premier League and CAF Inter-club competition this season in the Red and Whites shirt before his deal.
“Asante Kotoko have transferred forward Kwame Opoku to USM Alger ( Algeria ) after his short but impressive time here. Everyone at #AKSC wishes ‘Bayie’ well in his future endeavors” the club tweeted.
The Ghanaian forward penned a four and a half years contract with the Algerian club for a believed to be around $350,000.00 $500,000.00.

Opoku, 21, is currently with CK Akonnor’s Black Stars team in Accra ahead of the upcoming AFCON qualifiers games against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
