In-demand Nkoranza Warriors attacking midfielder Gabs Goddey scored his fifth goal of the season in his side’s vital away win over Wamanafo Mighty Royals on Friday.
The talent midfielder who is been chased by both Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak, was simply unplayable as he hit his quality best throughout the game at Wamanafo to help the visitors pick all three points in the crucial clash.
Goddey who spent last season with Tema Youth SC, spent some months in Germany with German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen but unfortunately could not seal a deal with the German top-flight side based in Leverkusen in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The 19-year old attacking midfielder joined the Nkoranza-based club from Royal Awudu Issaka Academy.
Goddey who joined Nkoranza Warriors in the second round of the 2010/21 Division One League, has so far scored five goals.
He looks very likely to play in the Ghana Premier League next season as the two Ghanaian giants are hoping to secure his signature to bolster their squad for the 2021/22 season.
Meanwhile, some unnamed foreign clubs are keenly monitoring the player and could table a bid for him when the current season expires.
