Asante Kotoko jet off to Mauritania for Champions League clash against FC Nouadhibou

The Kumasi-based side traveled without captain Felix Annan who picked a knee injury last Sunday during their Ghana Premier League match against Berekum Chelsea.

Asante Kotoko SC left Ghana on Wednesday morning to Mauritania for the CAF Champions League game this weekend.

The Porcupine Warriors will face Mauritanian champions FC Nouadhibou in the first leg of the preliminary round of the competition.

The match will be played at the Stade Municipal in Nouadhibou on Sunday 29 November 2020.

Also, defender Habib Mohammed is also suspended for the match.

Augustine Okrah, and Mudasiru Salifu were all out of the first leg encounter.

Newly signed Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama dos Santos and Naby Keita didn’t make the squad.
