Exclusive information from Pemsuo Radio reveals that Coach Akwasi Appiah is poised to compete for a seat on the Ghana FA Executive Council, representing Asante Kotoko, in the upcoming Ghana FA Elections.
The process of accepting nominations for the forthcoming elections has commenced, with potential candidates already obtaining their application forms.
As reported by the Kumasi-based radio station, the club’s esteemed life patron, His Royal Majesty Otumfour Osei Tutu II, has provided unwavering support and endorsement for Coach Akwasi Appiah’s bid for the position.
Notably, the former Black Stars coach currently holds a role within the Interim Management Committee established by the life patron, overseeing the club’s operations for the 2023/24 season. In this capacity, Appiah serves as a technical director, positioning him to vie for the Executive Council position on behalf of Asante Kotoko.
The Ghana Football Association wishes to officially announce the commencement of the nomination process for the upcoming 2023 Elections.
All interested candidates are advised to complete the enclosed application forms and submit them to the GFA Secretariat no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, August 11, 2023.
