Obuasi Ashantigold SC conceded a last-gasp equalizer against Techiman XI Wonders in their Ghana Premier League week 23 clash in Obuasi on Saturday.
The Yellow and Blacks took the lead late in the first half when in-form midfielder, David Abagna Sandan scored the game’s opening goal five minutes from the half time whistle.
Ashantigold were looking for their first win under acting head, Thomas Duah and were very close to securing a 1-0 win over the Techiman lads.
But just when it looked like the Miners were home and dry, the visitors restored parity and snatched a point from the jaws of defeat with a 90th minute equalizer from Abass Ganiu.
The match finished 1-1 and points were shared between the two teams.
