AshantiGold SC have completed the signing of Burkina Faso international goalkeeper Aboubacar Babayouré Sawadogo, SPORTSworldGhana.com can report.
The 31-year-old joins the Obuasi-based club as a replacement for Frank Boateng who recently left the club.
Sawadogo has had stints with Burkina Faso top-flight sides AS Police FC, Rail Club Kadiogo and AS Douanes.
He also played for Al-Nojoom FC in Saudi Arabia from August 2018 to July 2019.
Sawadogo has made12 appearances for the Burkina Faso national team since making his debut in October 2016 against Uzbekistan during an international friendly.
He kept the posts for Stallions in their last two games in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifications in November 2019 against Uganda and South Sudan.
