Ashantigold striker Boadu Dacosta was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the match between his team and Elmina Sharks that saw him score twice to help The Miners win 4-2.
The former Medeama player scored his first goal in the 60th minute to bring the game to 2-1 in favour of the home team after Appiah McCarthy had scored a free-kick equalizer in the 47th minute to cancel the 4th minute effort of Benjamin Boateng.
Boadu realized his brace in the 67th as Ashgold went ahead to win the game 4-2 after suffering a preliminary elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup against FC Salitas of Burkina Faso last weekend.
