Obuasi Ashantigold maintained their unbeaten home record in the Ghana Premier League following a 2-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.

Hans Kwofie – who is making a return to the team after missing the last three matches of his side due to injury – put Ashgold in the lead in the 40th minute. The goal is thus the fourth realization of the experienced attacker in the current campaign.
Miners coach Milovan Cirkovic introduced winger Yaw Annor in the 66th minute for goalscorer Kwofie who seemed not fully fit. Also Kwadwo Amoako came on for center back Empem Dacosta in the 73rd minute.
Ashgold remain unbeaten at home after a 2-2 draw against Karela United, a 4-2 win over Elmina Sharks and a 5-1 mauling of King Faisal in Obuasi.
