Captain for Obuasi Ashantigold SC, Hans Kwofie has stated that his teammate, Yaw Annor should have been voted the Most Valuable Player in their clash with Accra Hearts of Oak.
Speaking to Pure FM in Kumasi, the leader of the top scorers chat after week two of the Ghana Premier League season stated his displeasure concerning the Man-Of-The-Match award which was not given to Ashgold’s number 30.
“My man of the match in our game against Hearts Of Oak was Yaw Annor, not Patrick Razak”, he two goals hero noted.
Despite his disappointment, the former Medeama SC kingpin acknowledged that the Hearts of Oak winger, Patrick Razak also did well on the day.
“Let’s give the technical study group the benefit of the doubt. Razak also deserves but for me it should have gone to Yaw Annor” the Ashgold leader concluded.
Hans Kwofie has scored three goals in two matches for the Miners this campaign after just two games played in the Ghana top-flight.
