Ghana Division One team Asokwa Deportivo SC midfielder, Seth Kwadwo has been invited into the national under 20 team.
The box-to-box midfield gem is one of the key members of coach Karim Zito’s newly assembled Black Satellites team after his stellar displays for the Kumasi-based team.
The 18-year-old left-footed midfielder had a short stint with the Ghana U-20 team that was captained by former Asokwa Deportivo and Wa All Stars defender, Ishaku Konda that failed to qualify for the FIFA youth championship two years ago in Niger.
The workaholic midfielder was also part of the ‘Olympics team’, Black Meteors but could not make the cut into the final 23-man-squad of coach Ibrahim Tanko’s side that failed to secure a place in next year’s Tokyo Olympics games.
With his vast experience and exposure with the various national teams in recent years, the hard working midfielder is expected to be a kingpin in the newly assembled Black Satellite team.
Kwadwo, 18, has been consistent for Deportivo since the NC tournament and scored five goals with four assists in the abandoned National Division One in the 2019-20 season which ended abruptly due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.
