Aspire Academy Wonderful Goalkeeper Abraham Kpodjie says Training with the Ghana National U17 Soccer Team The Black Startles was a big honor.
The young shot stopper couldn’t have had a better season with Aspire Academy keeping 14 clean sheets in 20 games , and to cap it off, He was one of three boys invited to train with the National U17 team as part of the Black Starlets preparation for the Africa Youth Qualifies.
In an exclusive interview with Sportsworldghana.com from his based in Qatar, The former Keliz Fc Goalie Said:
“Having the opportunity to training with the Black Starlets was a big honor. It was also a really great experience for me though I was not really surprise when the call came in that I should come and train with them because I was in good shape.
“It was kind of hard when I first got there because the facilities here at Aspire is far ahead than that in Prampram but I think in all it was awesome and I can’t wait to try out all the things that I’ve learned here at Aspire.
“The goalkeeper’s coach Mr Joe Baah really liked me and I have to stay for about a mouth because he didn’t want me to leave but again due to some reasons I couldn’t play in the Qualifies before coming Back to Aspire.
Abraham continued saying he want to work extra hard in other to do better than he did last season.
“Last season was super good but I’m not keeping that in mind, it’s a new season and my target is to training hard and do better than I did last season.
