Italian Serie A side Atalanta BC have released former Ghana youth defender Patrick Ashmah, bringing an end to his four-year stint at the club.
SPORTSworldGhana.com can exclusively report that the former BA United defender who could not make a breakthrough at the club has been released after ending his loan spell with Slovakian club FK Senica.
Asmah, 24, had featured on loan at Serie B side Salernitana before making the switch to Slovakia.
The left-back was one of the stars of the Black Satellites team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand in 2015 earning him a move to Italy.
Asmah who has featured for all national teams except the Black Stars has also previously played for Serie B side Avellino.
