The latest to lend credence to the falsity of the hacking claims by GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi is Liberian President George Oppong Weah who was taken to Dubai for a week to meet a phantom Sheikh by Kwesi Nyantakyi.
An email sent by Mr Nyantakyi to ‘Sheikh’ to arrange a meeting between Sheikh and Weah ‘exposed’ Mr Nyantakyi’s claim as inaccurate. Mr Weah who knew nothing about the whole Nyantakyi ‘matter’ was transported to Dubai and left after unsuccessful attempts by Nyantakyi to fix an investment meeting for the Liberian president-elect to get opportunities for his relatively young democratic country.
This was laid bare in an explanation lawyer for Anas, Kissi Agyabeng gave the media in the wake of the hacking claims.
Embattled former president of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi, earlier said agents of Tiger Eye PI hacked his email to send incriminating emails about a dubious business deal for purely mischief purposes. But the investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas disputed this claim.
Anas in response to several allegations by Mr. Nyantakyi yesterday also dared him to provide evidence to support his claims that his email account was indeed hacked.
In a statement to respond to Kwesi Nyantakyi’s 8-paged defense on his appearance in the recently screened exposé Number12, Anas Aremeyaw Anas accused Mr. Nyantakyi of fabricating lies to play a victim in the face of the hardcore video evidence that captures him to be involved in alleged corrupt deals.
Lawyer Kissi Agyabeng, counsel for ace investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has said that it is not possible for someone to hack Kwesi Nyantakyi’s email and follow through to act by transporting the president of a sovereign country to Dubai, even though mails he sent to ‘Sheikh’ to request for an audience for Weah was not responded to.
In the interview, Lawyer Kissi Agyabeng made a shocking revelation of how former Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi kept then Liberia President-elect George Oppong Weah for seven days in Dubai after a supposed business meeting with a Sheikh failed to materialize.
According to him, the former Ghana FA president promised via email (typed and sent by him) to arrange a business meeting with President Weah and an unknown Sheikh in Dubai without realizing that the said Sheikh’s Secretary he was dealing with was Anas himself and that all emails by Kwesi Nyantakyi were sent to Anas directly.
He wondered why Kwesi Nyantakyi would make a 360 turn to make hacking claims.
Speaking on Abusua Nkommo hosted by Austine Woode in a reaction to claims that his official email address was hacked by Anas and his team, a statement which has already been refuted by Tiger Eye PI on Monday, he reiterated the fact the embattled FA boss was clutching on straws.
He disclosed that Kwesi Nyantakyi, had written to Anas with his email that he was traveling to Dubai with Mr. George Weah to Dubai to discuss a potential investment deal.
The lawyer added that even though Anas didn’t reply Kwesi Nyantakyi’s email, he went ahead to travel to Dubai with the former AC Milan star.
”Nyantakyi claims his email was hacked and my question is if indeed he didn’t send the said invitational message to Anas who acted as the Sheikh then how come he travelled to Dubai to discuss the said investment deal even at a point he has not received any reply from the Sheikh” he quizzed.
