Accra Great Olympics say that they are preparing to file a case at the Players’ Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association to seek the official return of player Gladson Awako from Hearts of Oak.
Olympics sold the player to their City rivals in August for 100, 000 Ghana Cedis transfer fee.
The Phobians paid half of that amount following the transfer of the former TP Mazembe midfielder – with the remainder scheduled to be fully paid not later than October 2nd, 2021 – a default of which automatically invalidates any agreement in place between Hearts of Oak , Great Olympics and the player.
“Hearts of Oak were to pay the remaining 50, 000 cedis to us by October 2nd, 2021 and if that was not honored then any agreement between Olympics and Hearts becomes null and void and the player has to revert to us.” Olympics General Manager Oluboi Commodore said on Fox FM on Tueday.
“This is stipulated in paragraph Five of the contract between us” he explained.
“We are going to the Player’s Status Committee to make our case since Hearts of Oak has refused to reply our messages to dialogue” he added.
