AZ Alkmaar striker Myron Boadu says although he intends to leave the Dutch Eredivisie to open a new chapter elsewhere, he wants to say goodbye to the club at a price.
The 19-year old Dutch-born Ghana international has heavily been linked to Italian giants AC Milan with Manchester United and Newcastle United reportedly monitoring his situation at AZ Alkmaar.
Myron Boadu, Calvin Stengs, Oussama Idrissi, Marco Bizot, Owen Wijndal and Teun Koopmeiners were all associated with a transfer before the coronavirus outbreak.
”They tell that in various interviews. “At least it is very quiet around me, I don’t know about the boys,” Boadu told De Telegraaf about the developments surrounding his person.
“We have a very nice group. If there are more people, it can be a very nice season. But never say never in football, people can also leave.
”I think that the crisis is more likely I have already said that I want to say goodbye here with a price. That has not happened yet, due to the circumstances.”
“That’s just how it works,” says Slot. “But they know what they have here and maybe that’s why it’s nice to stay for a year. If they ever leave, we have to make sure we respond to that. It has been like this at AZ for years. ”
