Ghanaian duo, Baba Rahman and Thomas Partey were both in action on Sunday as Arsenal engaged Chelsea in a pre-season friendly.
Baba Rahman started on the bench for the West London club, with Partey being involved from the start at the Emirates Stadium.
Baba, who seems to be having a good pre season was introduced in the 64th minute of the game, replacing winger Callum Hudson-Odoi at the left wing-back.
Partey picked up an injury in the 40th minute of the game and was replaced by Granit Xhaka, who went on to score Arsenal’s goal of the game.
The Blues ended up beating their London rivals with a 2-1 scoreline as they stepped up preparations for the upcoming season.
Arsenal gaffer, Mikel Arteta will hope Partey’s injury’s is just a minor one while Baba hopes he convinces Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel with his performances.
