Ghanaian international Abdul Rahman Baba is pleased following his side’s impressive 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough in the English Championship on Saturday.
The on loan Chelsea left-back was one of the shining stars at the Madejski Stadium as the Royals pipped Middlesbrough by a lone goal.
The Ghanaian defender was very efficient on the left rear for Reading as he defended gallantly and moved forward to join the attack with his surging runs.
Baba could have found the back of the net in the 80th minute but after a neat one-two with Canadian attacker Junior Hoillet, the forward failed to release the ball back to the Ghanaian who was in a better position to score but rather went for personal glory with his curling effort sailing over the ball.
The Ghanaian star was happy with the win as Reading climbed to 9th on the league log with 13 points.
“Alhamdulillah for another 3 points, clean sheet and the home fans never stopped. Unreal. unto the next one.” Baba tweeted.
He is expected to put up another great show on Wednesday when Reading travel away to face bottom placed Derby County.
