Lens attacker Kevin Danso is delighted with his team’s heavy win against Metz in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The Austrian-born Ghanaian centre-back was again handed a starting berth by manager Frederic Antonetti and gave an impressive account for himself.
French forward Wesley Saïd shot the hosts ahead in the 14th minute following a thunderous start to the game at the Stade Bollaert-DelelisVenue but Nicolas de Préville pulled parity for the visitors in the 33rd-minute mark of the game.
Just four minutes after Nicolas de Préville’s goal, Wesley Saïd struck again to restore a 2-1 lead for Lens.
Back from recess, Lens took total control of the game and deservedly got the third goal through Cameroonian attacker Ignatius Ganago in the 88th minute.
With the game almost ending 3-1 in favour of Lens, Polish striker Przemysław Frankowski hit target in the 90th minute to wrap up an emphatic 4-1 win for Lens.
And Danso, 23, who played the full throttle of the match, took to social media to express his excitement.
