Bechem United skipper Moro Salifu produced another big performance against Karela United on Friday afternoon to clinch the Man of the Match award.
The Hunters inflicted a first defeat of the season on their opponents while maintaining their unbeaten run.
Salifu was largely in charge of the Bechem United play as he dominated the midfield using both his technique and physique to outclass the likes of Umar Bashiru and Sadiq Alhassan in a very packed midfield.
The performance of the bulky midfielder who has got the height and physique of Yaya Toure saw him voted as the official Man of the match – his second of the season so far.
Bechem United set up in a 4-4-2 formation with Moro Salifu and Twene Francis as the two central midfielders but is Salifu who is more advanced of the two on the pitch as the team relies heavily on his passing ability and ball distribution qualities.
That is not the only job he does. Without the ball he was tasked to help massively in defensive work as he supports the number six player Twene who does majority of running.
