Ghana Premier League side Bechem United have extended the contract of deadly forward Hafiz Wontah Konkoni, the club has confirmed.
The striker who has attracted interest from some top clubs in the county and abroad has been handed a six-month contract extension.
Konkoni has been the Hunters best player in the past two seasons, bagging in the goals for them in crucial games.
The former MTN FA Cup winner are reluctant to let their top striker leave the club and have handed him a short term deal they get him a lucrative offer in Europe.
The club also handed Emmanuel Asante a year contract extension.
Bechem United began the 2020/21 season with a draw against Liberty Professionals on Monday.
They will host WAFA on Saturday at the Nana Gyeabuor Park on matchday two of the Ghana Premier League.
