Bechem United sign youngster Francis Acquah from BYF Academy

Ghana Premier League side, Bechem United FC have announced the signing of Ghanaian left-back Francis Acquah on Thursday afternoon.

The youngster has joined the Bechem-based club from Ghana’s Division One League Zone Two side Bekwai Youth Football Academy (BYF).

He signed a three-year contract with the Hunters ahead of the 2021-22 season in Ghana.

The club statement read: ”We are delighted to announce that we have completed the signing of left back on a three-year deal from Bekwai Youth Football Academy.”

Bechem United finished 13th last season in the league after a chequered campaign.

For the upcoming season, they will have to retool after captain Moro Salifu left for Egyptian side Ittihad.
