Young Ghanaian forward Ben Opoku has secured a move to Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim, following an impressive campaign with SC Switch in Germany’s fourth division.
The 21-year-old striker enjoyed a standout season, netting 10 goals and providing four assists, which drew the attention of top-tier scouts. His consistent performances and attacking flair convinced Hoffenheim of his long-term potential.
Opoku, who was born in Germany, has previously represented the German U18 national team, scoring once in four appearances. However, he remains eligible to play for Ghana at the senior level, keeping the door open for a possible future with the Black Stars. A strong showing in the Bundesliga could quickly raise his profile on the international stage.
While Hoffenheim is expected to integrate him gradually—likely beginning with their reserve side—Opoku will be eager to prove himself and fight for a place in the first team. With his sharp instincts in front of goal and fluid movement, the talented forward may not have to wait long for his opportunity.
